CEDR in Wuhan University has frequent contacts with famous universities and institutes in the world. Researchers in CEDR are sent to visit abroad now and then. Indeed, all the full-time researchers have the experience of visiting abroad for academic research or study. At the same time, CEDR has invited many famous scholars to give lectures here. Just from 2001 to the present, there are several tens of foreign economists who visited CEDR.

Growth and Development Seminar

Following the mode of Harvard University, CEDR holds regularly Growth and Development Seminar to discuss current issues in Development Economics and practical problems that developing countries have encountered with modern skills of economic analysis. Well-known economists have been invited to display their intelligence and talent on how to analyze and solve practical problems with modern economics. Growth and Development Seminar is well appreciated by academic circles.
